New York City Couples Session | Katy & John

Still on cloud nine after getting to photograph Katy & John in New York City! NYC was very different for this North Carolina girl but photographing in the city is so much fun! New York City has so many great locations for couples’ or engagement sessions all within walking distance of one another.

Katy & John both work in NYC and so we decided to do their couples’ session in the city they love! As it was my first time in NYC, I had no idea where to go for a couples’ session. Since Katy & John are locals, they suggested a spot the High Line. The High Line is a former New York City railroad that has been turned into a greenway. The coolest part about the High Line is that it is elevated about two stories. It literally winds through the buildings of West Manhattan. The temperature was 35 degrees, so Katy & John came bundled up for their session. Their photos turned out so cozy and fun!
