Family Beach Portraits at Holden Beach, North Carolina
Photographing the Medlin family at Holden Beach was so much fun! The Medlin’s take a family beach trip every year and this time I have the privilege of photographing their family on the beach! Their family is growing, and they are about to add another grandchild to the mix! It was such a sweet time to capture them while the kids are still little, and they are all together!
We were sure to capture big family portraits together while also grabbing the individual photos!
This session was captured two nights in a row! If you can’t tell, it was super windy the first night and it was a little too chilly for the kiddos. We still captured some great photographs, but we went back out to the beach the next night and it was less windy and so pretty! The kids, Baker and Maverick, were happier and were able to run around on the beach!
At every family session I grab just the parents for a few minutes while the kids are taking a break! These photos end up being so special for parents because they don't have a lot of pictures by themselves since they had their little ones! These are especially fun when they are expecting a new baby!
